Severe Asthma Studies Open to Enrollment
Basic inclusion criteria for individuals eligible to participate:
TYPICAL INCLUSIONS
• Are between 18 and 80 years old.
• Are between 18 and 80 years old.
• Are willing to participate in clinical trials.
• Are willing to participate in clinical trials.
• Non-smokers (former < 15 pack-year ok).
• Have physician-diagnosed asthma that requires continuous treatment with medium-to-high dose inhaled corticosteroids plus LABA or ICS/LAMA.*
• Have had at least 1 exacerbation within the past 12 months.
• Fev1 outside 40%-90% | • EOS > 300 cells/μL
*Symbicort, Breo Ellipta, Advair Diskus, Advair HFA, AirDuo, Wixela, Dulera, Trelegy Ellipta
TYPICAL EXCLUSIONS
• Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Bronchiectasis, Sarcoidosis, COPD, Pulmonary Fibrosis, alpha 1 anti-trypsin deficiency. Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, etc.)
• Cancer within the last 5 yrs.
• Other uncontrolled disease
